Organize workspaces and projects
Use workspaces for organizational isolation and projects for environment-specific credentials, usage, and ownership.
Choose the right boundary
- Workspace
- An isolated team and governance boundary with members, projects, policies, endpoints, and audit data. Business workspaces can share one billing organization and quota.
- Project
- A workload and environment boundary inside a workspace. API keys belong to projects, so test and live access can be operated separately.
Switch workspaces
Use the workspace selector in the header. The app refreshes all live data for the selected organization. Always confirm the workspace name and environment before creating or revoking a resource.
Create a workspace
- Open Settings in the billing workspace.
- Enter a durable team or business-unit name.
- Select Create workspace, then choose it from the header.
Additional isolated workspaces require Business and share the billing workspace’s commercial quota.
Create a project
- Choose a name that maps to a workload or deployment unit.
- Select Test for development and staging, or Live for production.
- Create project-specific keys; do not reuse a live key in test.
Limits
Free supports 1 workspace and 1 project, Pro supports 1 workspace and 5 projects, and Business supports 5 workspaces and 25 projects per workspace. Project creation requires an owner, admin, or developer role.
